About

My interest in life is helping others achieve congruence.

According to Carl Roger's theory (psychologist and founder of humanistic approach), congruence is a feeling of integration experienced when the self and ideal self match. We are all born congruent; however, due to various discrepancies and challenges that we face later in life we lose that characteristic and most likely we become incongruent.

Realizing early on that my passion in life was to help others, I decided to combine my knowledge in Psychology, Coaching, and Hypnotherapy.

Thus, I completed the California Coast University in Santa Ana California and received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I then attended and earned my Master's Degree in Psychology (Accredited by the British Psychological Association) with specialization in Mental Health, from University of Liverpool in the U.K- a member of the prestigious Russell Group of 24 research-led UK universities which includes Oxford and Cambridge. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills for Adolescents & Families, Adults and Couples from Drs. Miller, Rathus & Linehan and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depression & Anxiety Disorders and ACT as a brief intervention from Dr. Russ Harris. I completed my Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy, from the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

I am an accredited/certified therapist and member of APACS (Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors, Singapore), of ACBS (Association for Contexual Behavioral Science, U.S.A.) and of NGH (National Guilt of Hypnotists, U.S.A.).

In addition, I completed the course and obtained my Certification as a Coach Practitioner from Certified Coaches Federation, along with a Certifications of Attendance in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy from Milton H. Erickson Institute of Montreal (IMHEM), in Canada.

I had the chance of living in different parts of the world (Asia, Europe, and North America) and that has allowed me to develop flexibility, multicultural skills and overall has stretched my learning agility, helping in better understanding human nature.

My other two passions in life are music and fashion. Both of them are extremely correlated to psychology, as through music we connect, we express our emotions, we heal and most importantly we feel. Through fashion we reflect what we feel inside, who we are, what is the perception that we have for ourselves and the world. Thus, ''what we wear, is in a way a reflection of our inner state, and it has to do a lot with how we are being perceived by others''.
